Question
Hi, Ive enclosed PICS, this is a meticulously babied family van, backed into a friggin pole today. the thought of having the entire fender replaced is terrifying because of collateral damage that can be done during replacement (interior, trim etc)
but the thought of a badly done bondo job is equally bad,

Is there a way to put a skin, partial or complete over this??  if so, where would i get one???

Ive already talked to body shop ,im assuming itll cost about 2000-2800$

What do you think? Sincerely,  Ray and Christy

Answer
Do some research, ask friends and family who have had work done at a body shop or even ask the shop for references. Call your insurance company and ask who they would recommend. Most shops will warranty their work for as long as you own the car so get it fixed and don't worry so much. A good quality shop should be able to repair your van as good as new. All the nightmares you see on TV are mostly bunk, most shops want nothing more then to please you. One unhappy customer can ruin a business.
