Help! I'm 17 and fixing up my first car. The guy painting it for me doesn't know anything about the hinge on my drivers door. The hinge is bad but we don't know how to get it off and replace it. Any answers would be appreciated.

Go to your auto body supply store and ask for a pin and bushing kit for your model of car. You should pull the door off to install this kit. The hinges are welded on,you will have to knock out the pins to get the door off. Good luck.
You may have to take it to a body shop for a door alignment when you are done.
