Question
I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee that i rolled onto the its roof. The Roof is crunched down and the damage is the windshield pillars and the roof about 3 inches forward from the pillars behind the driver and passenger seats. Whats the best way to fix this? I was looking at cutting the whole roof off at all the pilars and getting a good roof at a junk yard, what are the dangers in that? is that the best way to go? or can you jack the roof back up? And does insurance usualy total a rolled jeep?

Answer
They would only total it if the damage is 75% of the vehicles value or more, which it probably is if you rolled it.
This is not a job for a novice. The roof will have to be jacked and pulled to get the doors and glass to fit before you cut the old one off. Then it is not a simple job to fit the used roof on the car, simple for me, I've done a lot of these jobs.
