Auto body repair & detailing/Mercedes auto paint refinishing

Question
I own a black 2001 C class Merceds.  I used an abrasive wax on the finish to remove very stubborn hardwater stains and I think I've damaged the finish.  I see deep swirls everywhere, even when the light is not strong and the car's finish generally looks very dull now.  What are my options if I want to restore the finish to showroom quality?  Where can I find someone to do this kind of work?  I don't want to go to the dealer because they charge more than I can afford for just about everything.  Thanks.

Answer
Hi Andy,

You might be able to check with someone that does professional car detail work. They typically deal with swirl marks on a daily basis and they know how to polish it back out. You might even check out 3M's new Ultrafina Swirl Eliminator polish that is designed for black cars. Take a look at this link: http://www.repaintsupply.com/pd_3m_06068.cfm
