Question
I took my truck to a body shop for repair.  The insurance paid for a portion.  I asked the owner for an estimate to paint the total truc the same color.  When I picked up the truck the gate had not been painted on the inside of the bed.  Body shop owner said he didn't paint it because the estimate was only for the exterior- it is exterior what gives- any advice

Answer
Hi Annette,

Body shops typically charge more for painting inside of a bed because of the amount of prep work involved. The estimate should outline what work was going to be done on the truck. If it was part of the original damage you can talk with your insurance company about it. I hope this helps.
