AboutGary Expertise I can answer most questions on auto refinishing materials. Especially PPG products. I have knowledge in the latest repair materials and techniques. When it comes to automotive paint I have a solid understanding of how things work.
Experience I have worked in a PPG paint retail/wholesale business for the last 15 years. I have dealt with many issues regarding paint and repair materials on a daily basis over the years. I don't know that I have all the answers but I would be willing to try.

Question i used the ppg global paint on the truck we painted.
the problem came up when the clear was shot, the clear did not harden , on the back of the can of the hardner it said use entire contents within fifteen days after opening. could this be it? or do you think the clear raito was not mixed wright? after three days you could press on the paint
and it would wrinkel , not good.
Answer Hi James,
It could be that the hardener was bad or old. How long had the hardener been opened before it was used? PPG will only guarantee it for 14 days after opening. I have seen body shops use hardener that was 6 months old and not have a problem but I have also seen a shop use a hardener that was 3 weeks old and it did just as you described. However, if your hardener has been opened less than say 2 months I would would almost bet the ratio wasn't correct.
