Auto body repair & detailing/Lousy touch up job on wipers

Question
The black paint on my windshield wipers of my Honda started to fade.  I went to
Auto Zone and they gave some flat pain to touch it up.  Unfortunately.  the paint
didn't go on consistently -- so it looks pretty crappy.

Is there anything I can do?  Buff? Strip?  Replace?

Answer
Mike the best thing to do in my opinion is to take the wipers off the car and thoroughly sand them with a piece of fine grit sand paper such as 500 grit or 600 grit, then wipe them down with a solvent base wax and grease remover. You can either spray paint them with a satin black spray can, which I have found to only last about 1 year, or purchase a pint of acrylic enamel from your local paint store and paint them which should last much longer, some paint stores can put acrylic enamel in a spray can for you. Good luck with your project, Thanks Laren
