Question
Hi Mr William, I have a 2007 Toyota Yaris 4 door recently my wife got rear ended and after that The car started getting rain water in the Trunk we replaced the weather strip but still there is some water going through the tail light in the trunk but now even the carpets inside the car is getting wet can you help on this please.

Answer
Richie, you need to take it back to the shop that repaired it. They should trace and repair the water leak for no charge- as long as it's not accident related. If they claim it's not accident related, then it should be covered under your Toyota factory warranty. Water leaks are pesky and sometimes difficult to trace- especially if hey are running into the interior of the vehicle. I really can't help you without actually working on the car myself- which is impossible, obviously. Besides, it's really not your problem- it's the body shop or Toyota's problem. Bill
