Auto body repair & detailing - fiberglass repair

Expert: Gary - 9/19/2008

Question
I have a fiberglass street rod. There are a few small fracture cracks on the hood what is the best way to repair before I paint. Tom

Answer
Hi Tom,

The best way is grind into the cracks with a die grinder or dremel tool and then use something like Duraglass to fill the cracks in. You can then prime and paint using good quality products. You can check out this link for the duraglass: http://www.repaintsupply.com/pd_usc_24035.cfm
