Question
Hi,
I have recently purchased a used toyota tacoma pickup with what I assume are factory applied decals on each side. Would there be a way that I could remove these decals without harming the  finish of the paint ?

Answer
Kevin, there are several ways to successfully remove the decals. One method would be to use a heat gun, simply heat the decal and peel it off, You will then need to use a wax and grease remover to remove the adhesive. The other method would be to use a eraser tool 3m makes one and also Norton makes one. You can purchase either one at your local paint store. They both would require a air compressor to use these tools. If you decide to use an eraser tool make sure and wear safety glasses as they will throw lots of debri but will not harm your paint.    Thanks Laren
