Question
Trying to re-mount the cab on a 1979 Ford F150. How do you align the cab to the fenders?I am told that you can do the fine algnment by moving/twising the cab so it aligns evenly to the fenders.

Answer
You can also jostle around the radiator support. There is no guide book on how to align panels- You just move things around until they fit. It's what I get paid the big bucks to do, and it just takes trial and error. Here is a tip- start by lining up the bolts and the paint spots where they were removed. Cabs are painted after they are assembled at the factory. If everything was painted after the fact, and all the paint spot  are gone- it's going to be a bit of a long road. Hopefully you kept track and count of anywhere there were shims or washers. They will surely need put back in. Bill
