Question
I am getting some Ford fanblade wheels off a GT and want to powdercoat just the fanblades black and leave the rim part silver billet. Is it possible to powder coat only part of a wheel or does the whole thing have to be done? If not able to be done, is there any kind of paint that would be best to use instead?

Answer
Hi Julie,

Look at using a product made by POR-15 called Blackcote. It's extremely flexible, chip resistant, scratch resistant, and U.V. stable. Oftentimes I have heard it being referred to as liquid powder-coat. Here's a link where you can find it: http://www.repaintsupply.com/pd_POR-15_BLACKCOTE_quart.cfm
