Auto body repair & detailing - Remove right fender 2002 Chevy S10

Expert: Michael Kakuk - 10/29/2009

Question
What do I need to do to romove the right front passenger fender on a 2002 Chevy S10 PU.

Answer
JEFF....I DON'T HAVE TO MUCH NEWER CHEVY DETAILS...THE BEST THING IS TO CALL THE CHEVY DEALER THAT HAS A BODY SHOP AND ASK THE BODY SHOP. THERE ARE QUITE A FEW CLIPS AND RETAINERS THAT CAN BE DIFFICULT TO SEE IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE THEY ARE LOCATED.

GENERALLY SPEAKING YOU LOOSEN ALL THE RETAINING BOLTS THAT YOU CAN SEE AND THEN PULL ON THE FENDER.
IF YOU FEEL RESISTANCE THEN THERE IS MORE THAT YOU HAVE TO REMOVE.
