Hello,
I have a 03 gti and the driver side door does not close all the way, i don't know exactly how big the gap is but i can see into the car through it. I have no problem getting the door to close fully but it just wont stay there. once i stop pushing it moves out again. Nothing is blocking the door, every thing seems fine and it locks, but there's a gap. let me know if you need more info I can take a picture or something

MIKE. .... SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE A DOOR LATCH PROBLEM. SLOWLY CLOSE THE DOOR AND SEE IF YOU
CAN FEEL THE DOOR LATCHING IN THE SECONDARY CATCH AND WHEN PUSHED IN A LITTLE FURTHER THE PRIMARY
LATCH.YOU MAY GET SOME ADJUSTMENT BY MOVING THE STRIKER IN OR OUT.

THAT SHOULD FIX THE PROBLEM AND IF NOT THEN IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU MAY HAVE TO REPLACE THE LATCH.
