Question
I have a couple of scuffs on my body armor that are very superficial without much real damage (rub against cement barrier for instance). Is there any way to repair or minimize the cosmetic damage (like maybe sandpaper followed by armor all or something)?

Please put the above subject on the email subject line in capital letters (I have bad spam software).

Answer
Michael-

These panel are typically replaced in the shop even with minor scuffs or scrapes. They simply can't be repaired due to the textured surface they are molded in.Any abrasive such as sandpaper will only remove material or make the surface smooth, which will only affect a larger area. The good news? SOMETIMES they can be relatively inexpensive to replace- depending on the vehicle. More bad news? Sometimes they can be very expensive!!! I'm not educated on the price for the avalanche so keep your fingers crossed!
Good Luck- Mark
