Question
hi gary
I painted my motorcycle with epoxy primer because it was a plastic shell, my question is what kind of base paint should I use to paint over the primer , and so it will adhere?

Thanks Andy

Answer
Hi Andy,

If you are going over an epoxy primer you can use just about anything if it's done within 48 hours (48 hours is the typical recoat time of most epoxy primers). You can use Solvent based such as PPG's Deltron DBC line or Auto Air Colors Acrylic Water-Based base coats. If your primer has dried over 48 hours I recommend wet sanding with 600 grit before you apply your base color.
