Question
i just got this sweet cherokee, '99, 83000... really nice right

but there's a little rot on the body, directly behind & underneath the driver side doors. should i just cut this up and weld a new one on, or does it not even matter

Answer
Hmmm, it sounds like your "cream pff" is a bit of a "crust puff". You need to get the rockers properly repaired immediately to stop the spreading of rust. I'm sure it's a rust hole you are dealing with. Rockers can be purchased online, or stop by a local body shop- they can sell you a set if you want to tackle it yourself. Once repaired, you need to have the Jeep undercoated with parrifin based undercoat- otherwise, your Jeep is going to go to the dogs in a hurry. Bill
