Question
I am restoring a 1991 jeep. When I am trying to remove the windshield hinges the torx screws are stripping in the head. What is the best way to remove the stripped screws.

Answer
Joe, you should have heated them up with a heat gun before trying to remove them- they surely have locktite on them. You can try driving an allen head socket into them that is of similar size, but i would heat the bjesus out of them with a heat gun first. If that doesn't work, you need to drill the head off, remove the windscreen and hinges, then use a pair of vice grips to remove the remaining stud. Bill
