Question
I have an '05 Dodge Neon (blue) and the satin black finish on the B-pillars is wearing off and I'm wondering the best way to fix it. Are these a part, separate from the door that can be replaced or should they just be scuffed, primed and painted like any other panel? Thanks!

Answer
Hi Andrew, I believe the panels you are referring to can come off the neon. You can replace these panels but it is less expensive to refinish them yourself. You are on the right track when you say scuff, prime if necessary and respray with a satin black. Available in the spray cans. Most guys will spray them right on the car-be sure to mask off the areas that you do not want to overspray.  Hope this helps answer your question.....Kim
