Auto body repair & detailing/bumper on my volvo

Question
my bumper was hit, it pushed in the pressure arm on one side, the body of the
car was not damaged, how do i get the pressure arm out again?

Hi Stephen,, Those absorbers were designed to take only one hit and It is best advised to replace it with a new one. The seal is most likely broken if it did not return to its original position. Hope this helps in answering your question.You may try to locate one at a salvage yard to keep costs down.Also check the frame rail to see if it was damaged as it may need repairing before another absorber will fit properly...........  Kim
