rust rotting major hole in floor panel of 1979 jeep pickup.
can it be repaired using fiberglass ?? thank you
I do not recommend using fiberglass to do a rust repair, you should use metal--20 gauge will do. Depending on the size of the rusted area you may have to strengthen the repair panel by putting in ribs with a bead roller.The rusted area should also be cut out and the new panel welded in.
