Auto body repair & detailing/rust hole in s-10

Question
I have a rust hole in my S-10 extreme at the riders side of the cab and it is starting to get bigger.  How do I repair it or do I need to take it to a body shop?  The S-10 is a 2000 with over 100,000 miles it looks good, if it didn't have that hole.    Than You

Answer
Hi Jack,

Rust repair can be tricky if you've never done it before. It really needs to be cut out and a patch panel put in. This will take some spot welding skills as well as some basic knowledge of body straightening. I recommend you take it to a shop if you haven't done this type of repair before.
