Question
This car is a 2dr ht. the doner fender is from a 4dr.post the doner fender was cut right behind the door opening verticle than along the top to the end of the fin.The question i'm asking, is there a difference between the 2dr and 4dr height of the fenders, when i measure the 2dr from the molding hole on the top of the quarter to the wheel well opening it's 22.5 in. when i measure the 4dr. fender from the molding hole to the wheel well it's 22. the other side of the car measures at the molding hole to the wheel well 22.5 any advice would be appreciated... Richard

Hi Richard , You will have to do some homework on this one ,,, Were the two mouldings the same on both 1/4 panels ...I would try perhaps measuring from a different point..... The 1/4 panels should be the same in height on all the models in 57 ..Try some of the remanufactures of the 1/4 panels and ask them if there are any differences...Google in 1957 Chev quarter panels ..etc  Hope this somewhat helps you and all the best to you and your Chevy....Kim
