Question
good morning kim,car has been hit on passenger door,t-boned;minor body damage to rear quarter,as well as minor damage to front fender, impact directly on door,no damage to frame below door or above it,only visable damage is to the pilar where door is bolted to body.i have found a complete door,question...can the pilar be pulled out?and then mount the door? also what cost should i expect from either a body shop or frame shop?    thanks for your help larry

Answer
Hi Larry, By your description of the damage to the A Pillar it should be able to be pulled out and a new door put on. you can expect the Frame repair to be around 6-8 Hrs. you will also be charged for 1/4 panel and front fender repairs and painting time. Hope this helps and also get more than one estimate from your local shops ---Cheapest is not always best and use a reputable shop. Thankyou
