Question
My BMW was scraped against a piece of wood. It resulted in a white scratch on the black color door molding on one of the doors. It looks like a chalk mark on the black rubber. Can I repair it with some sort of scratch remover/finishing product or do I have to get it replaced. Please advice.

Answer
Hi Swapna, If the scratch is on the surface only you can remove the chalk like appearance using a rubbing compound, I would sugest going to one of your local auto dtailing shops and have them perform this . It will only take a few minutes and the charge should be minimal.Hope this helps and all the best to you.....Kim
