Question I have a 92 Honda civic hatchback, I wanna install a fiberglass body kit, will I
need to customize the body kit so I could make it fit to my car? And I also
want to prime my car, is there anything special that I will need to do, as far
as adding additional coats or work to the body kit befor I prime it?
Thank u very much
Answer Hi Jeffrey, The body kit should fit decent, but you may have to fine tune some edges by block sanding with 120 grit paper..
Most fiberglass products will still have a release agent on them and must be washed off using a wax and grease remover. you will have to sand the complete kit with 320 grit paper. Again wash them down with a final wipe and Prime. Hope this is some help to you and all the best ......Kim
