Auto body repair & detailing/Window regulator

Question
Five weeks ago I had the driver's side window regulator replaced in my '05 Land Rover Disco. (it would up & down crooked, but wouldn't go all of the way up.) This week the window went all the way down and won't go up at all. Is this all part of the same problem?  I am a single "girl" and I don't want the repairman ripping me off. Thank you so much for your response!

Answer
Lauren, it sounds like the motor failed. It's not related to the regulator problem, its just a sad coincidence- unles the new regulator came with a motor- sometimes they do, sometimes not. If it had a new motor on it, then the regulator should be covered under parts warranty. bill
