Could you please give me an estimate on how much it would cost to replace a rear bumper and a right rear taillight on a 2001 Honda Civic (I think it's an LX?)  I'd really appreciate your help.  Thank you.

It is impossible to give you exact figures because there are variables at play here.

Without visually inspecting the damage it is unknown if the bumper can be repaired,needs the absorber or reinforcement,has the impact altered the structure ? Only a trained professional can give you a proper estimate and he would have to visually inspect the vehicle to make these decisions. If the bumper cover and tail lamp are the only parts affected then you could expect
an estimate to be anywhere from $ 625.00-800.00.

If you are going to use aftermarket parts then a bumper would be about $217.00 available from the aftermarket industry and the tail lamp would be $80.00.

Considering paint and materials and labor to install these parts will put you in the lower range of the quote.If you decide to use original factory parts the estimate would be on the higher end.

My advice is to take the vehicle to a local body shop or two and get estimates done. The estimate should be within the same range.
