Hi, i was going through the drive thru at a bank and got a little to close and the drivers side mirror got hit and came off, but it didn't totally break off, its just hanging there with everything there. So how much would it cost average to have a Mechanic repair it? Also how much would it cost to paint the drivers side of the car white when green got rubbed up against it?

KATIE......I AM GOING TO ASSUME THAT IT IS A POWER MIRROR AND IF SO YOU CAN FIND ONE AT A SALVAGE YARD FOR ABOUT $ 100.00 OR SO....MAYBE 50 0R 75 IF YOU GET LUCKY.

IT WILL PROBABLY NEED TO BE PAINTED IF IT IS THE SAME COLOR AS THE CAR....$ 50.00 THERE.

TAKE THE CAR TO A BODY SHOP NOT A MECHANIC SHOP AND SEE IF THE THE GREEN MARKS CAN BE BUFFED OUT.

IF THEY CAN'T THEN ASK FOR AN ESTIMATE.....THE TIMES USED TO DETERMINE REFINISH TIMES ARE COMPUTER GENERATED SO YOUR ESTIMATE SHOULD REFLECT THE USUAL AND CUSTOMARY AMOUNTS.
