Question
This is a follow up on original question. I followed your advice and was a able to blend the hard paint lines in. Came out nice. My follow up was on how to repair scratches on the plastic hood. There must have been a communication problem on the web site. Anything you could tell me about how to work on the hood. I am not sure if it can be sanded, painted etc. Thanks much, your original response was very helpful.

Answer
terry, lawn toys are not my thing, but lets talk scratches in plastics. they must be filled in and sanded level with smooth paper 500-600 and a flat block. must be primed, spray painted ,blended or complete panel[best way] .  use a auto body finish filler with hardener.H T H the end  bill
