Question
I'm painting my Jaguar xj-6 series 3 1979 and around the windows is a little rust, front and back windows...Should I wire brush, sand and then use body putty around them or is there a better way?

Answer
Bruce,  there is no such thing as a little rust.  Think ice-berg, there's more than you can see under the window.the best long lasting repair will have you remove the windows remove the rust, treat with rust killer materials ,prime, level with fillers, paint ,install windows .anything less will not hold up .
