Back bumper gloss black  Front bumper chrome   Would like front bumper to match back bumper.  Are there any special steps needed to be taken before chrome can be sprayed ???

SAM....IT'S A PAIN TO DO BUT YOU COULD SAND THE CHROME BUMPER DOWN AND APPLY SOME EPOXY PRIMER AND THEN RESPRAY WITH THE BLACK. MOST SHOPS WILL NOT MESS WITH THAT DUE TO THE COMPLEXITY OF GETTING PAINT OR PRIMER TO STICK TO THE PLATED SURFACES.

YOU MAY WANT TO CHECK WITH THE LOCAL AFTERMARKET SUPPLIER TO SEE IF THEY HAVE A RECONDITIONED OR AFTERMARKET COVER THAT ONLY NEEDS PREPPED AND PAINTED.
