Question
I have been having problems with my manual door lock and I've just taken the inside panel off. The key will not operate the lock, and it looks like I may have to take the window out. Is there another solution to the problem, or am I in for a long-haul repair job?

Answer
Dexter.
You do notneed to remove the window. Inner door panel, top half. Your lock should be
secured by a -u- shaped clip you can get access to at the door jamb. You can remove the locks
control rod with a long screw driver. A little patience will do the trick.
