Question
My son's 1995 Ford F-150 pickup driver's side door rubs hard against the front quarter panel when you open it.  It's starting to dent the door.  How do I fix it?

Answer
Stewart,
You can make the adjustment you need by loosening the 4- four bolts, top and bottom hinge
bolts that secure the door.Place spacers or washers between the door frame and the hinge
bolts.I believe they are 13mm
Support the door with a floor jack or some 2x4's or both. This allows you to adjust the gap
at the front of the door. Between the door and front fender.
Adjustments to the rear of the door, or the gap between the rear of the door and the cab
can be made by loosening  the bolts that attach the hinge plates to the front section of
the cab. There will be six (6) of these.three at the top and three at the bottom. 13mm also.

hope this helps,Best of luck.     Bill
