Question
I have a new left front fender that I am going to paint. It appears to be primed already since it is black. I have my paint code need for the job (NH5883M) but am having trouble finding a aerosol can paint. is such a thing available or do i need to purchase air tools to complete this job?

Answer
JAMISON

THE NEW FENDER HAS A BLACK COATING CALLED A TRANSPORT COAT AND IS SANDED AND YES IT CAN PAINTED
OVER AS LONG AS THE SANDING DID NOT GO THROUGH AND EXPOSE BARE METAL.

NH5883M RESEMBLES A HONDA PRODUCT? JUST A GUESS.
YOU WILL NOT FIND NH5883M IN A READY TO SPRAY CAN.

THE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PAINTING THE FENDER YOURSELF ARE PROHIBITIVE.

THE BEST THING TO DO IS TO HAVE A A BODY SHOP DO THE WORK AS THEY HAVE THE NEC EQUIPMENT AND PAINT
FORMULAS TO COMPLETE THE JOB.
