Question
I have a 1998 Dodge Durango with bad rusting on the front bumper, and other areas of the truck. I know i can have the rust remove, and the part re-painted, but for the bumper, would it be best for me to replace the whole bumper with a new one, or take it to a body shop and have them clear the rust and re-paint it along with the other parts of the car?

Answer
RON

YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF IF YOU COULD REPLACE THE BUMPER WITH AN AFTERMARKET ONE IF AVAILABLE IN YOUR AREA. IF THE RUST IS JUST ON THE SURFACE GET AN ESTIMATE FOR THE BUMPER AND COMPARE THAT ESTIMATE TO WHAT IT WOULD COST TO HAVE A BUMPER REPLACED.
