Question
I have a 97 gmc shortwide and I want to remove the trim pieces, what's the proper way to do so? The truck is white and will there be a difference in the paint under the trim and the rest of the paint?
Most trim pieces can be removed by using a trim removal tool specifically designed to get behind the clip and release the tab holding the clip/trim on.
Other trim pieces may have access from the inside and that requires removing the trim panels.
