Question
i recently pick up a 91 acclaim and the rack on the trunk lid is UGLY i want to take it off but i can only find one bolt for each piece of the rack. are they glued? just looking for some info before i start prying and pulling
I DON'T KNOW WITHOUT INSPECTING. TAKE IT TO A BODY SHOP AND ASK THEM IF THERE WILL BE ANY HOLES ON THE LID AFTER RACK IS REMOVED AND HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST.
OK THEN....MY ADVICE WAS SOUND AND PROFESSIONAL AND YOU CAN'T REMOVE THE RACK FOR WHATEVER REASON
SO THE BEST ADVICE IS TO REPEAT MY FIRST ANSWER......OR GO AHEAD AND PROCEED WITHOUT MY ADVICE AND
SCREW UP THE LID SO BAD THAT YOU NOW HAVE TO REPLACE IT.
