Auto body repair & detailing/2003 Tahoe Fender

Question
I bumped my fender on a post and had to replace it.  When I put on the replacement (from a salvage yard), it didn't fit the same.  It now has a larger than normal (1/2 inch or more) gap between the door and the fender.  I looked at the hinges and didn't see a way to move them.  Do you have any ideas?

Answer
YOU MAY HAVE GOTTEN AN AFTERMARKET FENDER FROM THE SALVAGE YARD AND WILL HAVE TO ELONGATE THE THE MOUNTING HOLES TO MAKE IT A CLOSER FIT.

MAKE SURE THERE ISN'T ANY DEBRIS IN THE MOUNTING AREAS AND LOOSEN THE BOLTS....THEN START ALIGNING
THE DOOR TO FENDER GAP FIRST AND GO FROM THERE.
