Question
ok, this may be a little odd but i painted my old truck using enamel tractor paint. i would just like to know if there is a clear coat available that will not peel the paint? most people say there is no such thing but it seems to me there would be something out there, just that its not well known since this is probably rarely done

Answer
I ASSUME THAT YOU USED A SINGLE STAGE ENAMEL BASED PAINT.....NOT MEANT TOO BE CLEARED OVER.

YOU CAN AND APPLY THE SAME ENAMEL PAINT TO A SCRAP PIECE AND GET A CAN OF SPRAYABLE CLEAR COAT AT YOUR LOCAL SUPPLY STORE. APPLY THE CLEAR AND SEE IF YOU GET A CHEMICAL REACTION.

FIRST USE A SCUFF PAD AND PREPARE THE SCRAP PIECE OR THE CLEAR WILL NOT HOLD ON.

I HAVE CLEARED OVER A SINGLE STAGE PAINT AND THE RESULTS WERE FINE.

THANKS
