Auto body repair & detailing/Remove Rear Fender Flare

Question
Dan, I have a small dent in the rear bumper cover of my Jeep Liberty 2002 . I want to tske it off and work from the inside.  I see I have to take the rear fender flare cover off first.  I pulled plastic pins from around the wheel well.  The top is still secured.  I can not see with what . Is is something I need to work from inside the vehicle (I don't see how)  or does it simply pull out.  It did not appear to be clips.  Can you give me some specific instructions?  Thanks Bill

Answer
Hello Bill

Yes, you are correct, the flare must come off first. The flare has push-in plastic pins / fasteners which hold it in place securely. Now, to take it off you will have to be a bit aggressive, but still careful. It will come off, as it is only held on with clips. If the clips break, which is likely, you will have to buy new ones.
Good luck
Hope this helps.
