Question
Rear end bumper damage prevents door opening.  
How to repair/replace bumper on older Caravan?  

Appears there are two parts:  bumper reinforcement and cover. Is that all?  
How to remove each... can they be repaired or is replacement suggested? Any
special tools required?

Answer
After removing as an assy there may be additional damages that you would not be able to fix without the proper equipment....thats usually the case. Sounds like you will have to replace the cover ,absorber,bar and clips and hope that there is not any damage to the rear body panel.
