Question

Hi Dan- Looking at insurace salvage vehicles at auction.
Found one with roof damage a shop said they could fix by replacing the roof clip.
Anyissues to be aware of regarding body integrity?
I have posted a picture below.
Thanks,
Rob

Answer
Hello Rob
Looks like a good truck.
The procedure would have to be roughly like this :Pull to square and align all gaps before any cutting is done, next the front pillars should be 'sleeved' or the roof frame repaired and a skin put on.
There are different ways to attack a job like this , so my main concern is that the pillars should not be 'butt' welded.

Good find and good luck with you shop.
