Question
i damaged the rear passanger door of my 1999 yukon
i bought a door at a salvage yard and they cut the hing and told me to remove the pin to install it  we have not been abel to move the pin  we used a hammer and nail  do i need a tool to remove the pin and do i need a pin replacement kit

Answer
Hello Kelli
You will have to heat the pin and then knock it out with a wedge of some sort which matches up to the pin in size. The hinges are welded on both door side and body side from the factory, so your task will be a bit challenging. Be sure to use good amount of heat from an oxy torch or your task will last forever. You will also have to buy a pins and bushing set.
