Question
The One Choice products, 4901/4902.  Can they be stored in zip lock bags if used for small areas and reused?

Does the PPG 9700 black basecoat need to be top coated immediately or can the items be sprayed days or weeks later with clear?

Thank you, Stan

Answer
Hi Stan,

The SU4901 can be stored in a zip lock bag. The SU4902 doesn't store well at all. Since it's designed for softening plastics to increase adhesion it will melt right through a zip lock bag. You might try and be very careful when you're cutting the top off and you can put the wipe back in the foil pouch, roll the top down and then put it into a zip lock bag.

All DBC basecoat must be clear-coated within 24 hours with clear coat. Longer than that and the clear will not bond properly. If you do allow it to dry longer it must be sanded and another coat of color must be applied.
