Question
I have a 1992 Nissan Pathfinder and it is black but not ' new ' black anymore...I really like these type of vehicles and want to keep mine for a while. I was quoted $5-6000 ( canadian money ) to repaint the vehicle....can I do it for less if I do it myself if I by the paint and study the use of the air spayer? and how much less would you guess?

Answer
Hello Peter

Well, I don't think you should try. I have been painting cars for a long time and technique is developed with practice. I don't mean to undermine your talent; I'm saying that lack of experience and the spraying of a black color which is the most unforgiving color to spray, will end in disaster
If you are in the Vancouver area I could recommend some shops if you like.
Let me know.
Thank you for the question
