Auto body repair & detailing/rubber molding

Question
Hello Gary.
I gotta '94 Corvette. Some of the rubber molding around the doors etc are cracking. I really don't want to replace it now, and the rubber is still soft, and does the job.
Is there a product/method to repair this, before it gets all hard and useless?
thanks

Answer
Hi Nerol,

There are some manufacturers that offer a rubber dressing that supposed to help keep the rubbers from cracking and even help rejuvenate the cracking areas. Meguiar's and 3M I know offer this as well as some other lesser known brands. Here is a link to Meguiar's M-4016 Rubber and Vinyl Cleaner & Conditioner.
