Question
Dear Gregg

I am curious how does graffiti removal from cars work. I heard that some spray paints can be removed with alcohol or some sort of detergents while in other cases the whole car needs to be repainted. Can you tell me what sort of paint is hardest to remove from a car and why?

Best regards

Answer
The hardest paints to remove are industrial paints used for painting water towers and bridges. They are usually two part epoxy with a very strong bonding agent. Graffiti from an aerosol can are easily removed. I own and operate a nationwide overspray removal company and we specialize in removing the strongest paints ever made. Yes sometimes alcohol will work if you get to it early enough. They make several graffiti removers. I would need you to be allot more specific in what you are trying to do, and then I could be specific in helping you.
