Question
Hi!! I have an LR3 2006 and the light on top of the back door fell off, I bought the new one and brought it to a BODY SHOP to have them installed it. They did it but it didnt last too long until the light fell off again. Apparently they called a glass company to ask them what they use and they told them some kind of black glue they use . the light is plastic and has no skewes but just some kind of clipper thing. I want to find out what will be the best thing to use in this case. Thanks

Answer
Hi Priscilla!....If your courtesy light does not have any screws holding it in, as you had mentioned, it will only be held in place with plastic tabs, or spring clips....In my opinion, if the body shop where you took it to had to call a glass shop and find out what kind of glue/adhiesive they use, says to me that they had broken either the tabs or clip assembly....There is absolutly no need to install it this way....If that is the case, they should be paying for a new interior light assembly....Hope this helps...Any more concerns, please write me back...Thanks.....Dave
