Question
A truck with a trailer hitch backed into the T & C punching a hole in the front between the bumper and grill areas. I have the piece that was punched out and would like to know the best way to bond it back into place, etc. Thanks.

Answer
This is quite the repair. You will need fiberglass bonding tape from a body supplier, duramix or equivelent tpo plastic repair adhesive and some body filler. remoev the bumper cover and grind around where the piece broke off and also the back of the piece. Do the same to the front. Lay some fiberglass tape across the edges and mix up adhesive and spread heavily across the broken sides. When it is dry, grind off excess and finish fith body filler. Sand body filler, primer and repaint. This is not a do it yourself kind of job unless you are well versed in doing repairs like this. Hope this helps.
